CNC Machinist position The successful applicant must be able to: - Program CNC mill and lathe, set up tooling, speeds and feeds and run the machines - Run manual mills and lathes - Design and build jigs and holding devices - Draw own designs and read others’ blue prints - Use appropriate precision measuring instruments to ensure components are machined to specific tolerances and surface finishes as indicated on drawings, in both English and Metric systems - Be responsible for checking own work and also others’ - Be proficient with Windows XP, AutoCad, and preferably with Mastercam - Run a small machine shop (3 people), occasionally work alone, prepare estimates and work orders, and interact directly with the customers - Provide reference information and certification, if applicable Successful applicant may have the option of buying into the company Please send resume to vectormachining@shaw.ca
